Middle School Cross Country Qualifies for State

The Arlington Middle School Cross Country team, under the direction of coaches Kelly Henson and Jeremy Biggs is off and running.  To the state championships, that is.The Arlington boys team finished second and the girls came in fourth at the West Tennessee Middle School Cross County Championships on October 11, giving them automatic berths in the state middle school cross country championships October 18 in Knoxville.  Additionally, runners Skylar Boogard and Chloe Biggs were 4th & 14th overall for the girls and Luke Kerns (7th)  and Ethan Wales (15th) finished in the top 20 for the boys.  Fifth graders Aiden Nettleton and Sam Moder also qualified in the elementary school division, finishing 20th and 21st.

The top five teams in each division and top 25 individuals not already on a qualifying team qualify for the state championship.

September 18 — Arlington Home Meet
Boys 1st place – 23 points
